Biography

Research NoteHer gravestone says she is the daughter of James Larkin. I have not found a birth record for her in Arnold's, but there is a marriage record for Larkin, James, of Hopkinton, and Elizabeth Ward, of Thomas, of Newport; m. by Elder John Mason, Sept. 19, 1772.

That would be compatible with a birth year of 1779, so perhaps those are her parents. I don't see any children of James and Elizabeth.

Marriage9 June 1905John Stout Fisher and she were married on 9 June 1905 at Elm Street in Westfield, Union County, New Jersey, Fitch - Fisher Marriage
The cosy home of Mr. and Mrs. Allen C. Fitch, of Elm Street, was in holiday attire last Friday evening for the wedding of their daughter, Lucy Amanda to John Stout Fisher, formerly of Dunellen, N.J. The ceremony was performed under a canopy of flags and flowers by Rev. Dr. C. M. Anderson, of Jersey City, assisted by Rev. Dr. Wright of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Westfield. Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present. But these made a numerous and brilliant company. Miss Pauline Embree of Buena Vista, Virginia, the bride's cousin, was maid of honor, and Rullff Fisher of Dunellen, the bridegroom's cousin, was best man. Marjorie and Ralph of Dunellen, and Virginia and Eleanor Pearsall, of Westfield, were ribbon bearers. Edna Pearsall preceded the wedding party, carrying a basket of flowers while Miss Ethel Pearsall played the wedding march. On their return from the Berkshire Hills, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher will, prior to the erection of a new home of their own on Middlesex Street, reside with the bride's parents."

Under "Personal Paragraphs":
"Mrs. Edward L. Embree, Miss Pauline and Miss Embree, of Buena Vista, Va., are visiting relatives in Westfield."

"Mrs. A.C. Fitch, of Elm street, is entertaining her mother, Mrs. C.A. Pearsall, also her sister, Mrs. E.L. Embree, and daughters Pauline and Lois, all of Buena Vista, Va."

"Mr. and Mrs. John Fisher will return to Westfield next week, after having enjoyed a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Old Chatham, N.Y."2

After a motor trip to New England, the couple will reside in Westfield in the summer and in Melrose, Fla., in the winter."
