* According to the History of the County of Brant, Seth CRAWFORD was born Nov 1, 1801 in Saratoga, NY of Scottish ancestry.
* He came to Canada c. 1821 as a missionary.
* He married Laura MEAD (b. Aug. 1802 in Saratoga, NY; d. 1852). Perhaps had 12 children(?)
