NoteAccording to Wilbour's "Little Compton Families", Nicholas was the progenitor of the Little Compton Brown families.
Family NoteNicholas had two wives. The first wife is unknown. The second wife was Mrs. Frances Parker, the widow of George Parker. Frances died about 1669.
He had at least 4 children, by which wife is not known:

To grandson Tobias, the son of William, he left all his lands and houses in Rhode Island and all his "neat cattle, sheep, horsekind and hogs, carts, plows, corn, hay, pewter, brass, etc."1
