"All that peice parcel of medow and upland in ...Bedford att a place called the Greatt Medow containing two acres and an half... bounded... east by common land & other medow lotts and west by a medo lott belonging to ye sd Clason northerly by a highway and south by the other rainge of lotts Also that lott of land whereon the above sd Daniel Holly doth now live and bounded ... east north and south by highways and west as the fence now standeth and also another lott of land a joyning on the west side of the above mentioned lands and bounded ... south by a highway north by the land Wm Clark [Jr] west by ye land of Conelius Seely [Jr] east by the above mentioned land & also six acres of land ... as it was laid out near Persons Brook2

It was sixteen and a half acres near the Great Meadow Path and the Barbadis (variously spelled) Hills, bounded by property of Stephen Clason and his own property; and eighteen acres bounded by the property of Daniel Holly and his own property.3

Sold to THOMAS SMITH of the same place for 122 pounds 10 shillings, in the 21st year of His Majesty's reign "Several pices...of land lying in ... Bedford... one pice ... being the homstett whereon ye said Daniel & Stephen Holly now lives on in quantity thirty acres ... bounded northerly by a high way & land belonging to the heirs of Robert Eliot deceast easterly and southerly by high ways & westerly by land belonging to Capt John Holmes. Also another pice of land in quantity twenty acres ... bounded westerly by land belonging to Samuel Miller Sr southerly by land belonging to Andrew Miles [Mills] easterly by land belonging to Zackeriah Miles [Mills] or his son Zebediah Miles [Mills] & Abram Miller land northerly by Samuel Miles [Mills] land and a high way Another pice of land containing seven acres and one half of land ... bounded northerly by Joseph Clark land easterly by Nath Holmes land southerly by land belonging to heirs of Joseph Seely [Sr] deceast westerly by a highway Also a meadow lott in ye Great Meadows two acres and one half bounded easterly by Samuel Miller [Sr] land southerly by the rere lotts so called westerly by Samuel Miller's [Sr] meadow northerly by a high way Also one third part of you common or undivid[ed] land in Bedford which I hade of my honoured father Stephen Clason deceast being a third part of his right in said commons" Signed Daniel Holly Johanna Holly Stephen Holly Phebe Sarles.
