Edward Kelly

M, #9972, b. 1865, d. before 1900

Parents

FatherJames Kelly (b. 1839)
MotherBridget (b. 1849)

Biography

Birth1865Edward Kelly was born in 1865 in New York.
Residence1880As of 1880 Edward lived in Bridgewater Township, Somerset County, New Jersey,
Deathbefore 1900He died before 1900 I concluded that Edward died before 1900 based on the 1900 census that said Bridget had 10 children and only 2 living, John and Martin who were living with them.

However, in case that was wrong, there is an Edward Kelly, age 55, in the 1920 Raritan census. That is the correct age for this Edward. It says he was born in New York, which matches Edward's 1880 census. He lives on Somerset St. His wife (another Bridget) immigrated in 1883. He is a Barber with his own shop.

In 1930, Edward and Bridget are still on Somerset St., he is 65, she 64, and their son Edward Jr. is 39, single, a Machinist in a Machine Shop.
