She was a nurse's aide at Easton Hospital for 15 years before retiring in 1970. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Rugh (Heil) Widdoss.

She was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson. She was a member of the Lester Pferrer American Legion auxiliary, Wilson, and the Wilson Republican Club, and sang in the Musical Arts of Wilson.

Survivors: Husband, sons Richard, Jr. of Stroudsburg, Steven of Wilson, daughter, Sherry Onesti of Woodbury, N.J., brother Larry of Lancaster, two grandchildren.

Services: 2 pm Thursday in the church. Cal 1:30 - 2 pm Thursday in the church. Arrangements, Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
