Death21 January 1913She died on 21 January 1913 in Queens County, New York,
Obituary22 January 191322 January 1913, New York City, New York County, New York, New York Times Obituary: Death Notice. Brownne, Angeline Betts Ferris, widow of Robert H. Brownne, Jan. 21, in her 98th year. Funeral services from 1,105 South Beach St., Morris Park, L.I. at 1 P.M. Jan 23.
Obituary22 January 191322 January 1913, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, Brooklyn Daily Eagle Obituary:. Angelina Betts Ferris Brownne, who was the oldest resident of Morris Park, died Monday in her ninety-eighth year, following a stroke of apoplexy. Up to a few weeks previous to her death she was apparently in good health, active in every aspect, except that her eyesight was slightly dimmed. The aged woman was under the care of her son, Dr. Robert H. Brownne, with whom she had lived for the past twelve years on Spruce street, near Atlantic avenue. Dr. Brownne is 75 years old.

Mrs. Brownne was born in Peekskill, N.Y. and she was the daughter of Josiah S. Ferris, long deceased, who was at one time the Sheriff of Peekskill.

For the past thirty years Mrs. Brownne had abeen a widow, he husband, Robert H. Brownne dying at an advanced age. He was the son of Charles Brownne, who in his time was a distinguished shipbuilder, he having built the first three steamboats for Robert Fulton.

The one aim of Mrs. Brownne, as she advanced in years was that she would live to celebrate her one hundredth birthday. So perfect was her health that she had already started plans for the date two years away.

Besides her son, the physician, Mrs. Brownne is survived by another son, John S., who is 57 years old and is the librarian of the New York Academy of Medicine in Manhattan.

The funeral services for the dead woman will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o;'clock in the home of relatives at 1015 South Beech street. The Rev. Dr. Chadwick, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Morris Park will officiate and the interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Burial23 January 1913She was buried on 23 January 1913 at Green-wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. I did not find her listing in the Green-Wood Register of Burials , or in their basic Burial Search. However, her name is on the stone with her husband, and her obituary says she was buried here.
