Edgar Ross, of Belvidere, died Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, to which institution he was admitted five weeks ago, undergoing a serious operation on Friday and prior to that having had two other operations. He was seventy-two years of age and was born at Mt. Pleasant, Pa., a son of the late Joseph and Sarah Ross, and had been a resident of Belvidere for the past forty years, where he was engaged as a shoemaker. Mr. Ross is survived by his wife. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian church of Belvidere.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from his late home on Market street, Belvidere. Rev. Henry E. Stammer, pastor of the Second Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment in the Belvidere cemetery. |
